winuae loader issues

hi I have winuae setup and it runs fine but I cant get the winuae loader to run a game it always says missing kickstart 3.1 for the 1200.  I have renamed the 3 ks roms and it sees my 2655 games in the tool.  if the kickstart was really the issue then it shouldn't run on winuae either correct ?  starting to lose my mind after to many days of searching the web for answers, thanks

I lost most my hair trying to get winuaeloader working. Did you make sure winuae is set up correctly first? You might need to edit the config file loader uses for gamebase games

fixed it I found the right roms the one I had for that version 3.1 a1200 must have been wrong but have it working and the set shows 2655 of 2655 games but my sps demo and gamebase don't show any games. if I know the paths are right how do you get it to rescan I had this problem at first with the whd set but reinstalled loader setup and then they showed up. is it something with the xml files? thanks

I only have experience using that set of games and that was tricky enough. I'd suggest pointing Loader to the relevant mdb files at the bottom of the paths tab. These should be in the WinUAELoader\Data\GameEx\DATA\EMULATORS folder.
You might also need to click generate game/demo lists on the tools tab
