Just wondered if anyone had any good resources or an actual cabinet where they could get pictures of a Splatterhouse  cab.

I bet Splatterhouse was a kit.

*does quick Google search*

You sir would be correct.  Now I have to find a Namco cab I like...Me thinks putting it in a Pac Man cab would be way too weird.  Though I do like the shape and getting plans and parts wouldn't be hard.

Just throw it into a tapper like the example on KLOV.

Actually, a Dynamo would be a good choice.

Don't know if I want something as big as a Tapper machine.  I do dig the early Namco cabinets but the monitor angle lent itself more for looking down games not side scrollers.

I was joking about the Tapper. I'd gut you like a fish if you did that.

Totally agree with you on that one.

I thought it actually happened.  The picture is from KLOV's arcade museum.  Tell me that doesn't look like a modded Tapper to you.

The Data East Round Marquee is a nice little cabinet with a little modification of course.

Does a version of this game exist with blood?  seems like everything I've seen in Mame is green with no dip switch or test menu change...  But if I remember right It seems like in the wild, at least initially there was red blood in this game and Mom's everywhere had their pantyhose in a wad....
