Video Sliders Settings not being Saved
« on: February 15, 2015, 09:41:03 am »
Hi All,

I want to say that Groovymame is now the go to emu for resoultion and frame rate accuracy and I have groovymame installed on four cabs running the latest groovymame arcade vga 3000s going to 15khz monitors... Used it for a few versios now love it...

Just of recent from groovy Mame 157 and 158

I have noticed that any games that feature dual or split screens e.g Outrunners, the nintendo play choice, Mega tech, daruis have issue that wasn't there before..

I have set these game video settings with the slider settings to Screen 0 4.3 or screen 1 4.3  and pressed F3 to store in the config
So that the games are in full screen

But since 157, if you quit from the game return to the game the settings are not stored... I have tried MameUIFX which does remeber the settings but when I run Groovymame it goes back to dual screen again..

My INI folder is empty as I like grooveymame to auto select res etc ..

So is this a current problem which will be resolved in another version or is there  a way I can force the said game to launch with a specific INI command like I do for the game volumes

Sorry to ask but I'm stuck

Thanks any help

I suggest to create new [game].ini file and put in just one line:

numscreens 2
