diff patches
« on: February 13, 2015, 05:12:43 am »
I'm trying to compile a version of MAME and I can't find any diff patches to download.

Everywhere I go tells me to go to http://mamedev.org/updates.html but this location is no longer valid.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks all ...

What diff patches do you want exactly? Usually when people talk about patching the MAME source, they are talking about stuff like the nag screen removal and persistent highscores. There's a thread about that here: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,64298.0.html

In case you are talking about the source differences between MAME versions, you can check out any version of MAME using git: https://github.com/mamedev/mame

Because diff patches are no longer being made. mamedev now posts only full releases with full source code.
