creating artwork for game on graphix
« on: January 27, 2015, 02:18:45 pm »
has anyone done this? i bought a CP off of monster arcades and i want to change the graphic.  They sent me a .psd with the template so i can create whatever i want.  My question is do i just make an image and insert it as a new layer and then create a file? or am i just using that to see if my images work with the cut outs? also would they pre cut it if you send it to them with the template?

I am assuming that they will want a high resolution (300dpi) .jpeg when you are done... but really you'll need to ask the printer about what kind of file they expect and whether they can cut the holes for you.
Completed projects: Pac bartop (Plug & Play), 30th Anniversary Pac cab (MAME), Point Blank (PS1), Centipede (arcade hardware- light restore), VS. Super Mario Bros (arcade hardware- light restore) Tetris Cocktail (SNES), Arcade Classics upright (60-in-1, then MAME), Multi-Raiden (arcade hardware). Pac Man vs.(Gamecube),

Working on: Pinball Re-theme, Homebrew arcade arena shooter

use their template, put your art over it, then flatten the image. As far as I know, GoG doesnt cut holes for you

I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.
