Wells-Gardner D9200 out of a Golden Tee 2005 cabinet
« on: January 20, 2015, 05:52:11 am »
I was able to pick up a Golden Tee / Silver Strike cabinet for cheap a few months ago.  Cabinet is mostly good shape but the bottem on one side will have to be repaired due to water damage. Has both coin mechs and a dollar acceptor, But not sure if that is all there as that area is lock and I have not worked to open it yet.

It was missing the board and most electronics but had a supposed dead WG D9200 27" monitor. After looking around the internet and this site. I found that basically the power had been cut to the monitor. So I figure out that it was a basic 110 volt system and rigged up a power cord temporarily. After that I was able to get the power working but the monitor has no readable video. Basically the video is compress to about 3 inches of the screen vertically and off set about 2 inches from center(I have video that I will upload or take screen caps of and link to but its at home and I’m at work).  I have tried the panel for the monitor to see if I can get something to work and it appears something might be happening but not sure. Appears that all colors are there most of what is displayed is white but you can make out some letters and such. There is the normal monitor whine but it could be louder than normal not sure about that.

I have also tried to connect it to a old laptop that can do 640x480 output with no luck.

Update: I was not able to get the video uploaded yet but got a screen cap. (See attached.)

So based on that would anyone have any suggestions as to what might be happening?
