I don't know, it's one thing to affect the environment of a game. It's another when you're tampering with the actual equipment.

It's kind of mind boggling why they even bother.  They're clearly a very talented team.

My last NFL game was a MNF game in Chicago in December.  I'm not worried about crowd noise and heat.  I also have no team in this fight.

PBJ is right about them not needing to do this.  They're dirty.  Plain and simple.

I agree that fake crowd noise needs to be banned, the Seahawks "12th man" isn't their fans, but an excellent sound system capable of drowning out everything. Unfortunately it is league permitted.

I agree PBJ and most fans up here do as well (I live just south of Boston). I would say about 90% of the calls to sports talk radio are pissed off fans. There comes a time when you just get tired of defending them.

I read that Kraft asked Belichick how much spygate helped them on a scale of 1-100.  He answered "1".

I do believe that most/all teams do this.  If thats the case, have the rules committee change the damn rule.  Idiots.

That's been debunked several times - its not a sound system, it's how the stadium was designed and a rabid loud fanbase.

Face it, McCarthy lost that game - cover 0 in OT?  SRS?

Oh, and GO HAWKS!!

Hey Boykster, good to hear from you.  8)

The crowd noise had nothing to do with that game, but everything about CenturyLink is specifically designed to shatter eardrums. Makes it a piece of ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- stadium that no team wants to visit. If that's what you want, have fun. Since you are going the extra mile, I'm surprised you don't import Steeler fans to throw beer bottles and spit on opponents and their bus arrives.

There is a reason why I recommended bringing in Steeler fans. Some Seahawk fans are actually nice people. You gotta remedy that problem.

Good article on PFT that Josh McDaniels needs to say what he knows about this.  He was OC during spygate, got fined by the NFL after that when coaching the Broncos for not reporting someone taping the opponents walk through, etc.

He may be the worst person in the NFL.  And that's saying something.  I usually say that about the Packers and Lions.

:applaud: that was a great finish. Let Seattle smell Super Bowl victory and rip it out of their paws.  And nothing like a good ol' fight and ejection, followed by a dumb penalty to seal defeat. (About as dumb as the patriots almost attempting to kneel in the end zone.  ::) )

I made two Super Bowl wishes. One was for the squaks to be ahead and lose in the last minute. The other was for Pete Carroll and bill belichick to both be kicked in the balls by a sasquatch. 1 out of 2 ain't bad.

 (- and sorry Boyk)

My wife flipped over to the game just to see the half time show. I was watching X-Files on my phone with headphones but I'm always up for seeing Katy Perry. She has nice... talents.  ;D

I'd bang that  bus. Makeup or not...it's getting messed up anyways.

On the side...the fake crowd noises reminds me of the fiasco a bunch of car companies are facing lately with their "fuel efficient" vehicle models having an artificial "bad ass engine" sound play through the stereo speaker systems in the cabin. oy vey.

http://jalopnik.com/the-2015-ford-mustang-ecoboost-fakes-its-engine-noise-1638853878

http://www.popularmechanics.com/cars/news/industry/the-rise-of-the-fake-engine-roar-11291754

Does everybody assume the public is incapable of cheering or booing for the teams? Are they afraid they will sit silently with their hands folded quietly watching the sport? Our car is fuel efficient but doesn't make a lot of noise...is this something we could fix with a PROPER exhaust system? nawww just play some vroom vroom sounds/cheering/booing through some speakers instead.

I saw it on Youtube and Vine.  Here's this one:

That was honestly the first half time show that I've ever watched from beginning to end.  And I've not missed a super bowl since the mid 70s.

I'll not watch another.
