ng-lo.rom where do i put it?
« on: March 03, 2002, 09:47:19 pm »
I am trying to run neogeo games but mame32 asks for the ng-lo.rom I found it but can't get it to work.
Has it been updated because I am using an old one and where should I put it?

Any parent roms should be in your roms folder. But the parent rom to neogeo games is neogeo.zip as far as I know.  I have not heard of ng-lo before.  I have a full roms set for version 58 and this is not a rom I have.

What is the game you are trying to play?

I tried several neo geo games and they would not run. Thanks for the hint I went to my neo-geo.zip file and it did not have the ng-lo.rom so i put it in there and now they work fine.  I don't know why it was lacking the one rom. Usually I play my neo geo games on neorage but neorage is giving me issues with XP so I was trying to move to one single emulator.

DOes anyone notice a slowdown on mame32 compared to neoragex when playing neogeo games. maybe it's just XP.
Thanks again :)
