Hopefully nobodoy falls when they open the store... and gets trampled....

btw, does it work with the DVD players they sell at Wallmart?

Actually, I still haven't had a chance to check.  I had picked up several extra shifts at work, so it is still in the box(too tired.) I will be able to check on two different units though.  I have a PS2 and an APEX (first model) and I will be able to post results with those.

I love my APEX. Got it for $70 a couple years ago, but when I got it I was disappointed. It looked like it was about to fall apart. But then I discovered it played almost every media type, including my friends DVD-R's (my PS2 refused to play them), VCDs, SVCDs, MP3s, etc. I found a forum somewhere with an Apex hack to remove macrovision, region restrictions and the newest dvd protection. Just download the ISO, pop it in the DVD player, and let it patch itself. Very cool. And it's been I think 2 years and it still runs as good as new. Even changed the background screen to have a little "ownership" tag so no one will try to steal it :). "You get what you pay for." --  not always  ;D
