Operation Wolf with Lightgun
« on: January 08, 2015, 09:42:57 pm »
I can't seem to get the button on my Aimtrak to launch grenades in the game....the button works I know in other titles, so I'm wondering if if the ROM is just bad?  When I press the 2nd button on the gun the grenades disappear on the screen but doesn't explode in the game.....as if nothing happens.

Just wondering if any Aimtrak owners can confirm if they experience the sane symptoms?

Thanks

Haze

the only way I can see what you're describing happen is if the 2nd button click is only registering right next to the right edge of the screen, hiding the explosion behind the status bar.

the game logic clearly detects your press if the on-screen grenades decrease, and the only area of the screen you get the behaviour you mention is if you launch one where you can't see it.

I've never heard of the bug before, so it's more likely a user / setup error than anything else.

I played it the other night, works fine. You have the controls setup in mame right?

Fixed it by reassigning the buttons again. Weird.....
