ArcadeOS sounds
« on: March 05, 2002, 06:43:29 am »
After allowing my 2yr old to randomly bang around on the control panel, I no longer have AOS sounds (i.e. startup, exit, p1 button, etc.).  The actual game sounds work fine, just not the AOS sounds.  I tried editing the arcadeos.cfg file to make sure sounds=1 (as outlined in the readme file), but when I start up aos, still no sounds.  Then I look at the .cfg file and my edit is gone - as if the .cfg is overwritten with "default" settings.  Any ideas??  Thanks.

I hear this a lot!

one of the reasons you cant configure JFront from the control panel.  You need a special key config to do anything :)

"like type in "secrentconfig" or whatever.   you get to choose it"
