Cutting the plastic piece and rotating them. Genius. Most people would have either cut the wires or re-crimped a new connector.

I know it may seem a little absurd to spend $23 on wire strippers but these Irwins are legit. Incredibly well built and durable. Unlike the no-name knock-offs. I definitely have it in my MVP tool drawer.

It's one of those tools you have to use to really believe it.
