Nice!!!

The "Simple Green", what exactly is that? Will some generic degreaser/cleaner of any kind do the trick?

DeLuSioNal29 · « **Reply #450 on:** July 02, 2015, 10:51:55 pm »

Nice. So the monitor's special coating stayed on then?

Wow. The monitor cleaning turned out great Chance but lets be honest.. that keychain part at the end is the most exciting.

Few things are as satisfying as seeing a monitor fire up after a successful cap kit.

Great work Chance.

That is pretty nice how he has the caps packaged and numbered.

Yeah. Ian makes great stuff. I THINK I met him at John's party last year. There were so many arcade guys there I may be mixing him up with someone else.

Either way, his cap kits are bar none awesome.

I get my cap kits from Bob Roberts, but it's good to have alternatives as I hope he eases back.

Wyo · « **Reply #461 on:** July 14, 2015, 10:41:55 pm »

Man, that did turn out nice. I just left the dirt on my monitor. Haha. And that cap kit is packaged awesome. Your build is ridiculously clean. I love it.

Baby steps. Lol. I figured I had nothing to lose and it couldn't get any worse in this case. But I would definitely do it to future dirty monitors.
