Setting up MaLa (Noob. Need Help :()
« on: November 26, 2014, 01:46:28 am »
Hi everyone,

I just set up MaLa and MAME using this tutorial:

http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=83570.0

My question is this.  When I launch MaLa, it gives me a list of every ROM.  This is awesome, but I'm building a cab that is only going to have a few games (cherry master, cards, slots, etc) for my grandpa.  I want to make this as easy for him to navigate as possible.  I've built one Cabinet before with all of these games, but that's not what I want to do for this.

How do I get MaLa/Mame to only list the games that I have in my "roms" folder?

Thank you!

Go here:

Look on page for "only games with rom"

Done. No need to set up game lists unless you want to :)
