Safe XBOX 360 Updates
« on: November 07, 2014, 02:37:01 pm »
Want to be careful how I word this.
Locally all the sources I once used to XBOX 360 assistance are gone.
Looking online I was told to look for C4Eva (sp?) .
None the less I can not find info on the 360 updates and want to update my console.
It has been months (4,5, even 6) since I've had it on.
I just don't want to mess with the "alteration."

Any good source of info ?

So, you've JTAG modded your 360 for "purposes" and want to update the 360 software without getting banned from live is the jist?

If it's been months since you had it on, why do you want to update it?

I dont use xbox live, so a ban isn't really the issue.
However i cant stream now without updating.

I think the drive is flashed.

assign the 360 a static IP address and block that IP from the internet in your router. That will allow you to stream locally.
If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.
