WG 7203
« on: October 29, 2014, 10:17:49 am »
Need some suggestions.

I have two WG 19K7203 monitors Which work fine except they will not turn on the first time I apply power (I can hear HV but no picture).
The picture always comes up when I turn the power off and back on again.

I have already checked several capacitors but no luck yet.
Any suggestions on where to start looking would be greatly appreciated!
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice.....there is!!

This is exactly the signs of a cap going bad.

Instead of just "checking a few", just "replace them all" and be done with.

Thanks, but...
That's A LOT of caps (x2).  If I could narrow it down to a particular section that would be most helpful!

Order from mouser, get them cheaper than buying kits.

Take your time, no need to rush through it.
