FE question...
« on: October 15, 2014, 04:54:36 pm »
I have been looking at front ends as of late working on my first home build.

Lots of hoopla has been made over hyperspin, and ya i like it, but once I started editing it I noticed it only did 4:3 aspect ratio and stretchered to wide screen. I could not find a way to make any theme grater than 800x600. Is this just the way that front end works?

You can set it to any resolution you want. But, I believe the native aspect ratio is 4:3 so it will stretch as needed.

Assuming you are using HyperHQ, on the Main Settings Tab pick the Screen (sub)Tab and enter in any resolution you want in the Windowed Resolution boxes.

Thanks, That is what it looked like :(  I am going to be using a wide screen LCD, it is hard to find a good 4:3 one of any decent size.

I still haven't settled on a front end.
