Arcade Monitors 101 - Need Help

Hi Everyone,

I'm in the middle of building my MAME cabinet, and I was able to get a Sega 29E31S-B monitor. My questions are:

- how do I connect this thing? Not from the computer to the monitor, but the actual power piece?
- Can I connect this directly to the PSU that I bought for the computer inside?
- I've been able to at least identify that it doesn't take a direct current, so I'll need some sort of transformer right?

I'm sorry if this seems super basic, but I cannot find anything online to walk me through setting up the power piece of the arcade monitor. Any help is much appreciated.

If looking at the monitor from behind, there is a 2 pin plug connector to the left.
I believe that monitor requires an isolation transformer for power.
  A lot of Japanese monitors are 100vac but from what I know, some will not give issue with 120vac.

When in doubt, use an iso transformer. They're cheap enough.

Agreed, it never hurts to use an Iso if in doubt
