Ok Guys,

So I got a new machine for my arcade recently. And I looked around for a frontend, but I didn't really fall in love with anything. And it's literally been a decade since anyone's seen me around here. So I started a few days ago digging through old code. I tried to install ultrastyle on my machine with MAME .154 just to see how far I could get. It wasn't very far. So I have started on a new version of ultrastyle. Well, not yet, I 'm actually working on the configuration app, that's where people are getting stuck. I will say right now, it's going to take me a while to get something workable.

I may be able to put out a patch on the current version just to get it to work with MAME, if that's something people would be interested in, but essentially I am doing a full code overhaul on both the config and the FE.
The new version will not be an upgrade from the current version, but I think the setup process will be much easier. I pinged a dev over at MameWorld, so pretty soon I may have the keys to get back into the site, and you can check out my progress blog over there: ultrastyle.mameworld.info

So I am back, is Howard nice now? I guess I'll find out...
