You're gonna have to fix that link. Right now it points to your very own personal folder on your computer.

my simple way to reduce pics: if you run Outlook, right click on the picks and choose Send As - Email. It'll ask you to reduce them down, and then just grab the pics from the email that's waiting to be sent.

And love the cabinet so far. Will you be painting or staining?

I ran some 'test stains' on scraps. The 3/4" ply looks great, but the 1/2" ply (CP top) did not take the stain the same.
I've gotta decide if I'm going to just paint the CP black or modify the plans & use 3/4" like the majority of the cab...

The look is way too clean... I really need some Marquee ideas that will be subtle & not get it ejected from the living room!

I haven't got any ideas for the art itself, but how about this technique for applying it ?

This should look nice and subtle enough. The only problem would be  finding something small enough to be able to print it ... Or something that consists of several parts.

Very nice work wildcat, thanks for choosing my design to build!  It's great to see a nice wood-grain 'Furniture' style version of this cab, I look forward to seeing more.

What? You're allowed to have it in the living room?

I really wanted to hinge the CP top. But couldn't find a clean way to do it. Hidden hinges needed to be recessed, and with only 1/2" thick CP top, I was too worried I'd botch it.
I ended up with a removable top.

Hard to see, but there are some PC speakers built in... Easier for me to tell the kids to turn down the volume with a simple volume control right on the speaker.

Someone here pointed these out to me for hinges:
http://www.rockler.com/175-fully-concealed-hinges

They have a great 175 degree open, are fully concealed and flush mount so you don't have to drill in at all.  I used them to mount my front door (CP is still under construction) and they work great.

Nice work on the cabinet!
