Anyone using this?
Even with translate i'm having a difficult time.
Or more accurately I don't know if i'm doing something wrong or it's working as intended.

I picked up a 19" widescreen monitor cheap $12 from a thrift store.
Thinking of using it for mame on my vertical only build and though it would be cool to have the marquee at the top and instructions at the bottom where the black space is and kept seeing mamelayplus mentioned.

well I got it up & running.
I got the marquee showing but the screen is shrunk down to fit into the standard bezel they made even though I tell mame not to use it.
it will scale to the sides if i tell it too in the video setting however the marquee turns off & i'm back to empty space at the top & bottom.

is this how it's supposed to work?
If so then i'll just go with either the 17" or 19" 4:3 lcd monitors that I also picked up for <$20 at a thrift store and call it a day.
