Anyone know why support for these were removed from Mame? Looks like they went in v0.76 but no mention in the whatsnew.

it's more likely they're just known by the correct revision number now, maybe using more correct romsets than back then.

Thanks a lot, I'm sure you're right.

Looks to me (from comparing rom CRC's) that:

Intermediate Release 1 = Revision 5
Intermediate Release 2 = Revision 7
