finally started the build

Allright I finally started the cabinet.... got one side totally cut out and completed the cp  don't want to take pics as of yet kinda boring just looking at a couple pieces of mdf  ;)

Hey! I started with a friggin' cardboard model!  :lol
And it's nice to see a project from the very beginning all the way to the finished product. Keep'em pictures coming!

OK OK OK i will send some pics tomorrow,,,, actually funny you say that years ago i was going to build one and i started with cardboard never did build it though

ok guys finally gosome  for u guys, nothing special right now but when i get back into town i am hoping to finish the cabinet off, right now only have one side and the control box cut out

    Wood?..... BORING!!! (yawn).... Giggle, just kidding, You can use that one side as a template guide and cut your other side with a router for a exact match.

Nice size cab! CRT going on the inside I suppose? Hit those edges/angles with a router to round'em up a tad, and it'll look less cookie cutter-like. Good luck with the rest!

oh yeah forsure jacenwon guaranteed to round off all the corners with a router, i was leaving town and at least wanted to get started on it.... yes i have a tracer bit for my router so the other side will be done this week. As for the monitor i had a crt kicking around for years and was going to always build a cabinet and use that monitor, then lastyear i said i will never build a cabinet and gave it away  :angry: ....... so now i will have to try and find one thru the want ads or just get a led i guess
