KI2 ArcadeVGA Issues
« on: August 28, 2014, 11:55:51 pm »
I had to go screw with things...

Setup: KI2 Cab, ArcadeVGA3000, J-Pac, Custom Computer

I put a SSD in my computer, put on Windows 8... regretted that completely due to compatibility with the Arcade VGA3000 drivers.

I rolled back to Windows 7, have Hyperspin fully configured and working. I installed the ArcadeVGA drivers and they take. I can even extend my desktop to my arcade cab when my computer monitor is on DVI and the arcade cab montor is on VGA. Good.

I unplug my DVI monitor leaving only the cab vga jpac cable in. I reboot the machine, BIOS shows up on my cab, Windows scrolling marquee occurs, and once it goes into desktop, I have this weird black static.

I've spent countless hours reinstalling drivers and the sort. I cannot figure out for the life of me why I can't get it to run without having a DVI monitor plugged in as well.

Here's a video I shot to show the problem in action:
