You should provide some more details, like:

  • Did you connect the I-PAC2 correctly (double check this!)?
  • What is the LED on the I-PAC2 doing? Is it constantly lit?
  • How are you testing the I-PAC? Does it work for 5 minutes without you pushing any buttons? Or does it stop when playing a game?
  • Did you try testing it with a simple text editor (i.e. pushing buttons and look if the assigned keys show up in the document)? Does it stop working there as well?

I think any info you can provide on top helps us helping you solving the problem.

Just to add, it might also be worth checking the ground wires.  1 single ground wire not connected can break the whole loom, meaning none of the buttons will work.  Every black wire needs to be connected to the ground shoe connectors on the buttons and joystick in a daisy chain continuous link from the 1st control on the ipac, connected to each control and then finishes at the last button or control so that all the controls are connected to each other from one single wire (when I say a single wire, I mean several wires attached together).

This was happening to my friendss ipac2 aswell, his problem was the ground shorting out on the metal control panel.i suggest checking all your wiring as well as checking your motherboards usb bios settings.if that doesnt work maybe try a different usb port, and dont use splitters plug the ipac straight into the mobo usb.

start by wiring up a single button with a single ground wire, then go from there.
If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

Well after a lot of tests.

I concluded that my USB just ---fouled up beyond all recognition---!

I tried all the ports in the back. And Preview. Maybe something is wrong motherboard.

I all so connect only the IPAC separately, does not help  :badmood:the same issue.

This Computer was connected to the  my cab.  nearly five years. Everything worked well.

In any case I change computers.

Thank you for all helpers.
