Sometimes you stumble into a project...

And this was mine:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3259423927&category=3945

A Sit Down Turbo cab already stripped.  Its located in the town next door to mine.  Of course I don't have any room for it and really don't need to be spending money on new junk, but I couldn't pass it up.  Comes with a nice sound setup too that is included, that saves some scratch right there.  I've got a pile of bass shakers (8 total actually) that I've been saving for a sit down cab, I think that will really add to the experience.

Early plans?  I'll probably start it as a dreamcast driving cab, since I've got the dc and got the Act Labs driving controls that they cleared out a while ago, then eventually make it a pc driving rig (since those games are getting so advanced).

First step, after I get home from work I've got to clean out and organize the garage!

If you put 8 Bass-Shakers in the seat of that cab, you'll never get her out of it. ;)

Actually, I've got no idea who she is!  It is the photo from the auction.

Anyway, I've got all of the controls mounted and the cabinet mocked up.  Now I am "testing" the whole thing.  I'm using the DC and Daytona USA, 18 Wheeler, and San Francisco Rush 2049 are great fun, I'm really enjoying the arcade ports right now.  They play just like you are used to in the arcade.
