Which front end...
« on: December 09, 2003, 11:11:16 am »
Greetings,

I've done some searching and decided to just come out and ask.

I am looking for a front end that is...
Easy to use
Easy to switch between emulators
Easy to swtich between favorites list (ie Combat,Driving, etc)

I was looking at Mame-Wah but was wondering if there was an easier way for a front end to switch between the emulators.

Thanks

Its very easy to switch between emulators in Game Launcher.  Easy to set up custom lists too.

It doesn't get any easier than pressing one button  ;)

(press 4 to cycle emulators or change it to something else)

Thanks!
I see that now. It is working good...

Right now I am running Mame-Wah with Mame and Stella as emulators. When I run an Atari game and I hit escape to get back to mamewah, it gets hosed and messes up. Any ideas?

I would recommend using z26 for an atari emulator with mamewah.  You can get it here:

I got z26 and made the changes but it still locks up after hitting escape from an atari game.

See what happens if you run the game from a commandline...

It runs fine from the command line. The problem is when running z26 with mamewah. The game loads and plays fine. Its when I hit escape to exit back to mamewah that mamewah locks up and hoses all the windows. I have to "end task" it and start over.

Any ideas?
