when i got my cabinet including Monitor i tested everything " played a Neo Geo game on it " then the man who sold it to me removed the game and board :) " due to my will "

the question now is : if i turn on the monitor : what should it do when nothing is connected to it?

should it just turn on and be black? or should there be stripes flipping Vertical like on old 15"Olivettti computers?
