Tube Swap from TV Degauss Question
« on: June 09, 2014, 01:18:32 pm »
Hi,

My older picture tube from my arcade died and i found what i think is a good replacement it's a A66EAK071X11 it was on a sanyo TV
with very little use, my chassis by the way is an hantarex polo2 15/25 auto.

My question is related to the degauss wires that are around the tube and do the degaussing do i need to swap these ?
I ask this because i measured the resista ???nce across the degauss wires and my old tube it measures around 40 ohm and in
the new one i got around 16 ohm.
Does this make any difference is it safe to keep the one that was on the TV or should i swap for the ones that were in the old tube.

Thx
