Nieman Displays Monitor
« on: June 08, 2014, 01:42:18 pm »
I bought a 27” monitor from Rick at Neiman displays 5 years ago – what a great monitor!

I decided to switch my MAME machine from winxp to win7.  Swapped out the OS, got a new arcadevga and set it up.  Worked great for a day.  I walked away from the machine today, came back and the monitor was only displaying the middle third of what should be on the screen.  The monitor still looks great, but for some reason, p cushion and horizontal size adjustments no longer work, so I cannot adjust the screen.   I tried the previous MAME computer and it doesn't work either which points to the monitor being the issue.

1.)what could I have done to do this?
2.)how do I troubleshoot to see what needs to be repaired?

Rick makes great monitors, but wish he was a bit closer so that I could get him to service...

I appreciate any help or guidance.
Dean

Shipping something from the U.S. to Canada for repair/exchange?  Please use USPS to avoid (additional?/excessive?) shipping charges.  PM me if you have any questions.

I was able to speak with Rick today -- what a classy guy who really stands behind his monitors with top notch customer service.  I highly recommend Nieman Displays for your next monitor...

Thanks Rick!
