Are these good dado bits?

Has anybody tried these out? They seem pretty cheap and I can really use a set right now.

I have not, I prefer to stick with brand names when it comes to the RPM's spinning on my router.  I'd be interested to know the manufacturer of those.

I prefer Whiteside or Eagle myself.......but price is more than twice as much.  But if you're not gunna use them alot (for many cabs) you should probably be fine.

Weird, my reply from a couple of days ago, seems to have never made it..

At any rate, I'm sure they'll work just fine. I don't know if there are similar straight bits with a different name. But, I have a version like the ones you posted as well slightly different ones. The ones like you posted have the bottom cutting-edge (?) with a space in between. So, I found it a pain to use with my plunge router if I needed to start in the middle of  the material, not on the edge. If I was starting dado from the edge, then they work just fine. I don't know if there is a special name for those types of straight bits, but now I know to look for something slight different if I need to start with a plunge. Or maybe it's all in my head..
