Setting refresh rate with Powerstrip
« on: December 05, 2003, 04:50:17 pm »
I've found out that those hiccups that happen with MAME on my computer are due to frequencies misadjustments. Using powerstrip I've been able to adjust the refresh rate for the mode I've using with MAME. The closer I've got to pure 60,000hz is 60,001 or 59,999. I have no idea about the values I'm altering, so could anyone tell me how to set this program in order to achive 60,000? With these values I'm getting a hiccup every 4 minutes or so, which is minimum, but I'd like perfect sync anyway.
