« on: December 05, 2003, 02:42:30 pm »
i am looking for info on how to play the playstation emulator EPSXE on an arcade machine..

now i know i need a J-PAC and an arcadeVGA.

but thats all i know untill i get them so if anyone is running EPSXE on your arcade monitor please tell me how you did it and which plugins your using...

and heres my specs to help you out with what i need..

athlon xp 2000
win98 seceond edition
384 DDR ram
80 gig WD HDD
geforce 4 mx 420..cant use it though  on the arcade monitor though.):
and soon an arcadeVGA!!

and is the J-PAC programable for epsxe??

i forgot to mention i doubt my monitor can handle 640x480 ..BUT 384x224 looks very good though. and 300x224 play in full screen!! so is it possible to get EPSXE to play in fullscreen on my crappy monitor?

THANKS!!!

Yeah, I have it running for games like Tekken 3 thru the JPAC.

For analog games though, I just configure it to work with my PSX2PC USB controller converter.

Use D3D for Video... and I think all the others are standard.

I actually run the games in 720x480 interlaced, as I have a Nanao Monitor that does a more than acceptable job of it (better than my Sony TV).

You have to fiddle with the registry if you wish to use the AVGAs special resolutions.

With MAME, PSX based hardware games like Tekken1 & 2 work a treat at 512x240 (native res for tekken).
