The raid was cool in a sad type of way.  It was sad to see all those games in varying forms of destruction but it cool to find the hidden treasures in them.  I spent 3 hours digging though the place.  It was creapy and my brother said that a racoon tryed to attack him.

According to the guys that did the raid, this was there 3 or 4th one so I can only dream of what was originally found in the first raid.  I spent $30 for my Asteroids cabinet and I feel it was wellll worth it.  The only items it was missing was the monitor, buttons, carboard marquee and control panel wiring.  I have everything else and the cabinet is in great (IMHO) condition.

uggghhh....that is frikkin' sad.  Just looked at the pics.  yeesh.  What is the deal with a "warehouse raid?"  I assume it is a defunct operator?  Why are all those machines piled up in there?  Even if the owner parted them out on ebay they should bring in a decent amount of cash.  It looked like arcade hell.  *shiver*  It is the kind of place I envision that guy "doo-rag" living in.  The fortress of solitude.

Great Pics, Jedi.

I would love to go on a raid like that ... seems like it would be a little like treasure hunting. It would be hard to decide what NOT to bring home, though.

MAN ... I would kill for that Pac Man cocktail ... that would make a fun project!

It is a shame what the stand-up Pac looked like, though.  :-[

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about the Pac cocktail but the picture really turned out better then the actual cabinet looked.  I about died when I saw the Pac-Man dying a slow death.  There were a few other ones that just hit me in the pit of my stomach.

MilitiaMan is right... it is more of a mental illness.
