  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
Hi guys, this is the first time i post something in this forum  ;D
I've been searching around in the forum and found out many custom windows xp with Nlite.
But i need help to make my own...

The thing is, i have a an old computer that i want to make an arcade game console, which im going to use MALA for it. I've done many custom windows XP with Nlite, but everytime i create one and use it with VirtualBox to try it out, i cannot play Zsnes and Project64. I always get "zsnes directdraw error" and an direct3d errror when i try to use Project64.

I've also been looking around for some "Last session" i can use with the Nlite, but when i use one of them i cannot "insert guest addon" in VirtualBox to transfer the files from my computer to the Virtual computer im trying out, because one of the drivers or components in Nlite is removed by using the "Last session"..

My main question is, do you have an really good settings i can use for my old computer to make an custom windows XP by using Nlite?
And what can i do to make it play project64 and Zsnes (By the way, the computer im going to use can handle those emulators and games.)
And if you have a good settings in Nlite, i want to enable internet so that i can try it out by transferings the files to the virtual computer before i use it on my real computer.

Thanks in advance! :D

I found microXP 10 out in the Bay and installed that on my 1.7ghz P4 with `700 mb of ram.
It uses maybe 40 mb at boot.
I did have to download some Microsoft components off their site and need do a work around to get the latest WM player installed so mala will play sound for the screen saver.
