mame question
« on: December 04, 2003, 01:10:33 am »
Every time i push  sw2 and sw3 at the same time it kicks out of any game im playing. Can anybody tell me why its doing this? Its kind of like i pressed the windows key. Is this a shift function on the ipac?
I noticed this today when playing streetfighter.

win98. running mamewah, with ipac.

Ipac set on mame.

So, that would be ALT-SPACE, right?  Hold on, let me look up Windows shortcuts...

yup windows short cut.
I woke this morning and it hit me.
alt+space duh ::)  So i just change sw2(alt) to something else like q or something. If this is ipac standard hasnt anyone noticed this before?  ive been lurken around here for about a year and never heard anyone gripe about this before.

I thought you could disable those shortcuts somehow?

I prefer to keep MAME's standard keys, and I don't have a problem with Alt+Space...

I had this problem with dos mame, you can change the shortcuts by right clicking on the mame.exe and uncheck all the commands from the shortcuts tab, i think ?
