Need help finding a vertical LCD screen.
« on: April 01, 2014, 09:29:16 pm »
I have this plug n play arcade game that I want to turn into a miniature arcade for my kids. This is the model http://amzn.com/B005XRP3WK.  I would like to use a 7 or 9 inch lcd monitor.  I've tried two and they work but they were both horizontal; no option in menu to change orientation.  Does anyone know of a small lcd screen that can be oriented vertically?

Monitors only display what you put into them. If there is no option on the game unit to change orientation, you're stuck to horizontal.

good day.

Most LCDs that small are probably targeted toward vehicle use, planes, SUVs, etc..  There may be one that has a built in setting to change orientation, but as chopper implied, for most of them you would need a PC to give you the flexibility to do the rotation.
