Lost my art in Mamewah
« on: December 02, 2003, 02:22:14 pm »
I updated my mame executable from advmame to regular mame without changing anything else and all my artwork is now gone.  This is the snaps, marquees and cpanels png files.  I have double checked the .cfg file and all the directories are correct, yet when i start mamewah no artwork is displayed.  Any ideas?
its better to not post and be thought a fool, then to whip out your keyboard and remove all doubt...

So do the PNG files physically exist on your drive?

yep and they are all the correct directories--its like mamewah isn't looking for them.  Its weird that it would work with advmame and not with regular mame--using the same layout--unaltered??

It is odd, but I can't think what might have happened.  All I can suggest is you delete your \MAMEWAH\FILES folder and try configuring again  :-\
