Retaining HighScores in Mame and through mala frontend?
« on: March 01, 2014, 12:01:16 am »
Hello All

I am building a Mame cocktail Arcade machine for a school technology project and i am easily believing the programming looks like its going to be the hardest part of the build for me. I am not totally computer illiterate, actually i am usually helping others how to use them ;). I know i have seen information online about being able to save high scores but i honestly don't know where to start or what to use  ???. So when i am in Mala and press alt when on the games list it brings up High Score but no info found, is the best way to have high scores available to set up HiToText or something else? is this separate to actually seeing the high score tables within the game? I downloaded the HiToText XML and application but i have no idea what to with them. I am willing to learn, so any help or pointers to the right direction will be very appreciated  :)
