Mouse utility
« on: March 22, 2002, 10:12:44 am »
Hey all.  I wired up my arcade trackball doing the happ's hack but didn't wire up any mouse buttons.  I need a program that can run on startup that'll assign my left and right mouse buttons to keys.  Also, it would be nice if it could also reverse the mouse axies.  I had one program but it killed the speed on my games.  They were running at like 7 fps.  Not sure why.  Thanks.

Yikes!  I was going to do that and didn't even think about controls.

It will probably be best just to wire up 3 extra buttons.

Why not just wire them up as mouse buttons? Mame will recognize mouse buttons just the same as it will recognize keys on the keyboard. You just need to program them in Mame using the in-game TAB menu.
