replacement Chassis for a semi flat 27" tube
« on: February 15, 2014, 01:10:55 pm »
I'm looking for a new chassis to fit into this monitor that was pulled from a candy cab which I don't know the model/brand, only the tube on its metal frame was sitting on the floor in the warehouse with its original chassis removed, it is a semi flat tube, I don't know the brand either since the sticker has been peeled off.

From what I have read this are the options: sanwa 29es31s, Weiya 2931a and there's also a Nanao chassis but I don't remember the model.

Is there anyone here with a Semi flat screen Candy cab such as the Atomiswave, Egret 3 or Net City who can confirm which chassis I need for this tube?

if its a shanghai novell chungwah tube u d better start scouting for a complete replacement monitor .. its chinese crap of the lowest quality one could imagine . i wouldnt spend 5 bucks on this one .  if its a toshiba with no burns u may check for a fitting nanao or toshiba chassis . i replaced 3 naomi sanwas with vga capable tv sets . its an awesome quality boost .

post a shot of the tube and pple will tell u the brand .

the tube doesn't have the sticker:

here's a few shots of the back of the tube with a weiya universal chassis installed:
