i don't see any reason why an itx machine wouldn't fit in there.

I'm going to measure everything and take a bunch pix tonight, time permitting.  Its a pretty tight fit inside, Im actually considering taking apart a Gameboy SP or something for the guts

I agree Malenko.  A smaller form factor PC would be nice but they tend to take up more space than you would think.  I thought I would have enough room in my weecade but once I got the motherboard, the monitor, power supply, and power source plus the control panel space went bye bye real quick.  After seeing all these micro builds on here I can't imagine getting a gameboy to work would be that hard.  Even if you are only playing one game.  ie Ninja Turtles.

They're incredibly tight inside. I think a Gameboy is a perfect idea.

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

What about a used PSP with the hacked firmware? They have TV-out cables you can get. PSPs are awesome for emulation.

Already thought about that :) Its an option too, I have an extra PSP and the TV out cord is only like $5

Got mine thx.  Was also thinking about psp but wondering what to do with screen.  I assume joys would be easy to hack but psp has so many buttons and would need to be selective with button choices.  Any ideas on screens?

Edit: Was also thinking of one of those cheap knock off consoles with an ARM processor they sell on deal extreme.  some have acceptable emulation w/ a monitor
