Having a hard time with mame builds
« on: February 01, 2014, 11:34:48 am »
EDIT: had hiscore.dat in the wrong place (which is so odd becuase I copied a working install from another pc) but yeah.

I'm trying to get mame 152 running with hlsl and the new cv1k driver for cave (from systempixel), along with the hiscore diff. Everything patches and compiles just fine, but hiscores don't save. With an older exe everything works fine. I've also tried compiling 152ex2 from Haze's site, but then I get a black screen with hlsl on. All my ini settings are right, hiscore.dat is in the folder, and such. Very confused!  It's not even reading my old score files in the folder when I try to use 152.
