ArcadeVGA3000 won't detect WG D9800
« on: January 18, 2014, 06:08:47 am »
Hello,

my ArcadeVGA3000 won't detect my WG D9800. When the monitor is connected to the pc the pc won't boot and beeps (1 long / 3 short - Video adapter failure). The ArcadeVGA works great with a normal monitor in the same pc. When I change the videocard the WG D9800 works as well.

I am using a regular vga cable and already tried different cables with the same result. I am not sure if I need a special cable (VGA breakout cable ???)

Thx for help in advance....

As far as I can remember you need a break-out cable with the WG D9800.

Problem still not solved.

I tried a ATI HD4550 but with the same result. No picture and the strange beeps at the booting. My nVidia card works over the dvi-port with an adapter. So it might has to do with the vga port? Is there something like a handshake process?
