Hyperdrive (1998) accelerator control in MAME
« on: January 11, 2014, 03:17:15 pm »
Discovered this game as part of the Hyperspin project.   Looks like a cross between FZero and Wipeout.

I can get the x,y axis movement working with an analog stick; I have the other pedal controls in MAME mapped to the z button  axis buttons, or other analog stick of my logitech game pad.

This works for other racing games, ie Cruisin USA, California Speed for gas/accelerator/brake but not Hyperdrive.

I noticed the original cab has 2 pedals - is there something  Im missing?  Maybe I have this games brake and gas mapped to the same axis in MAME?

thanks.

Matt
