Down in this part of the south if there is a cash register involved in the store you can guarantee the workforce is 70% female or better.  At the home depot by my house it's probably like 90% on the floor staff.  I went to the welder today to pick up a frame for my Starfighter build and there was a chick working the main office there.  It's probably different else where but in the poor south the ladies be working.

Funny but just the other day I was rung up by a young, female employee at Radio Shack - and I did find that odd. That was once out of the hundreds of times I'm usually greeted by a male employee more interested in selling me a phone I do not need than any actual help with electronic components (or even letting me leave without a new phone).

I went into Radio Shack and this cute young girl asked for what I was looking for and I asked her to find me a clover to AC adaptor for my laptop charger.

After looking at her online terminal she couldn't find it, so I went on walkabout around the store and found the cable I needed.

"Oh you wanted a MickeyMouse Cable" she says.

WTF is a MickeyMouse Cable?

I've been out of the game for a while, but a Mickey Mouse cable is that generic cable that connects from the battery charge adapter on a laptop and the wall outlet.  It's called that because of the three round connection posts the resemble Mickey Mouse's head.
