Two Fry's in Houston.  Neither of them stocks modems per their website.  I can't follow whatever point you're trying to make.

The point he is making is that he is ignorant. It must have tickled him pink finding some kid that knows less than he does and belittled the poor guy to his amusement.

I have to work with these rimjobs every day, and to be honest, it only brings the worst out of people.  I treat ignorant people like mushrooms and hope they leave to go infect another company.  You cannot reason with them.  Its like saying that an employee has an in-depth knowledge of an item at their store just because it is on their website.  ::)

Wow... just wow..... I really figured you differently.  Yeah... I don't know what to tell you other than, sorry dude. Must suck for you.

I think you guys are confused yet again.  I'm very kind to people in the service industry, because it's a crap job.  When these idigits who work on commission try to sell me something I don't want by outright giving the wrong info and likewise I see them pulling that on others, I set them straight.

This was ages ago when I first switched over to a flat panel.  I told the guy I was upgrading but had space concerns.  He asked about it and I said, that regardless I wanted a tv at least as big as the one I have now.  He asked what size I had, I said 27 inches, and he said "well the 27 inchers are over here".  I replied, well that's not the same size, it's smaller.  He argued it wasn't.  I explained how they measure tvs diagonally, he didn't believe me and had the nerve to go ask his manager about it.  Needless to say he came back embarrassed.  I never raised my voice, I was very polite, I simply took the guy up on his offer when he asked "may I help you"  That was my mistake.

How do you work, for commission, in the electronics department of a store and not know that tvs are measured diagonally?

My comment towards you was inappropriate.  I was going to PM you, but it better to make a public apology.  Everyone is ignorant in some way or another, myself included, but that doesn't excuse my behaviour towards you.  You do have your opinions, and we must respect them regardless if we agree or not.

If I had only one wish, it would be for three more wishes.

You guys are clearly ignorant to the definition of the word ignorant.
If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.
