Mortal Kombat Kompelte Edition Stuck on Title Screen

Hi Everyone,

I bought Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition on steam and it boots up fine.  But I can't get past the press space title screen.  It doesn't recognize any keyboard strokes at all.  That said when it shows the clips for the developers and such I can hit the space bar and it recognizes it then and skips the intro movie. 

Anyone else have this issue?

Solved.  Needed to make my keyboard at as a 360 controller.  Followed the directions here:
