Art I have done as of late
« on: January 02, 2014, 04:32:33 am »
Hello all, I have been on these forums for a while off and on, but in 2010 my hard drive crashed and I lost every single one of my vector art files.  I was so ticked at the time I decided to take a break for a few years.  Here are a few items I have done as of the last few years.  Its not much but Im trying to get back into vectoring.  I'm glad to be back and sure missed this place.

The rygar logo looks awesome. So does the nintendo vs side art! Might consider using it on my cabaret project if i don't end up vectoring the other art that i had in mind. I'm a little rusty to say the least, old school macromedia freehand.

Good job!

The Capcom, DigDug and Nintendo VS. was all commissioned back in 2010 for an online printer.  Have at it, everything I make is public domain as far as I am concerned...

thanks. It all depends on what direction i take my cabaret cab at the moment. I may either make it into a fix it felix cab or just a generic nintendo cabaret. I'd still have to vectorize the nintendo cabaret control panel before i decide in either direction as i really wanted to use a variation of the cp for either project.

I done an awesome 8 bit NES two player CPO a few weeks ago.  It looked like an actual NES controller, my daughter has been on me to make her an NES arcade.

might be time to build her a simple weecade  ;D

I dove into the cab yesterday, got some paint and more materials. Decided to just try to make it a fix it felix cabaret cab. Still debating on what to do about the control panel and bezel art.

Someone on KLOV put up a scan of the original control panel HERE and HERE. Been thinking of cleaning it up and vectorizing it but my vector skills are a little on the dated side, mid 90's freehand kind of dated.

someone else vectorized the original cp and put up some amazing color variation examples along with a custom bezel but unfortunately, they don't have any interest in parting with their files.

On the other hand, I could always go on the safer side and simply use the freely available fix it felix art for the control panel and possibly the bezel.

Enough of me though, Your art is amazing  :)

I'm pretty sure that has already been vectored.  You could go with a DK JR CPO...

A handful of guys on KLOV have it. Unfortunately for me, they don't want to give it out to anyone.

I've been toying with a double D&D cab containing both games for a few years now.  I have the boards, some artwork, marquees, etc.  Any possibility that you'd be interested in vectorizing more of the D&D artwork I have?  I could provide you the scans or mail you the physical copies if needed.  We would make all product available to the community.  Compensation could possibly be arranged if required.  Let me know what you think.  I like the work that you posted up.
