B&K 465 rejuvenator information
« on: December 25, 2013, 02:03:39 pm »
For those looking for a picture tube rejuvenator/tester, the B&K model 465 is old (manufactured approximately 1967), but with a B&K adapter model SP-65, can be brought up-to-date for today's picture tubes. That SP-65 allows you to use the modern CR-xx series of adapters just like the models 467, 470, 480, and 490 use.

I have scanned and posted the model 465 owner's manual here:

The 465 rejuvenator can often be found dirt cheap on ebay. Once in a great white the SP-65 adapter also shows up on ebay.

I typed up an idiots guide for this thing but the website went down years ago.  I just used clip leads and didn't bother with adapters.  Be careful with it, you can cook a CRT quick.

I believe mine also has a set of instructions on a printed sticker on the inside of cover.

Let me dig through the pile, I'll scan my instructions and take a photo of the cover....

I've tried giving this thing away and nobody is willing to pay the shipping expense.  (Europeans please do not private message me saying you'll take it)

Turns out I have a 440.  Took a photo of the type of information that's printed just in case it's helpful.  I can photograph the rest if you want.

And in case any of you wanted to see how I talk to myself
